In Colombia, only until this year the Invima approved the use of botulinum toxin in people suffering from these pains.

According to the specialist Volcy, Botox blocks the action of neurotransmitters to avoid inflammation of the subcutaneous tissue, i.e., which is located under the skin, that is causing extreme pain. He added that, unlike the other drugs commonly used to fight the disease, this does not affect any organ in the body and even ensures that one of the treatments is more insurance that can be implemented to deal with the problem.
